OUR KITTENS COME WITH:

IMPORTANT


•     A deposit is required within 48 hours after the kitten was chosen. Failure to pay the deposit in this period allows the seller to consider other interested parties.

•     Deposits are non-refundable.

​

•     Deposits can be transferred to another kitten from Harmonipurr & Tenderia Catteries.

​

•     Allergies* are not a valid reason for a refund.

            * It is important to consider any allergies you or your family members may have before purchasing a pet. 

                    o     Before agreeing to acquire a kitten, the adult buyer is responsible for comprehending and evaluating the allergies of themselves and their loved ones.

                   o     Refunding a pet due to an allergy would also entail moving it frequently, which would stress and hurt the animal. It is advised to either return the animal to the breeder without a refund or find it a loving and appropriate new home.

•     If the buyer doesn't take possession of the cat/kitten by the agreed date, ceases communication, or becomes unreachable, the seller can offer the cat/kitten to another buyer, with no refund of any payments made.

​

•     Kittens may be taken to their new homes once they have undergone neutering or spaying surgery and appear to have recovered well, typically between 12 to 16 weeks of age at the seller's discretion.

​

•     Remaining Balance Owed is preferred to have paid 2 weeks prior to pick up of the kitten.

​

•     If we have agreed to extend the delivery or pickup date, there will be a boarding be applied of $10 per day. The buyer is responsible for any costs of transporting the kitten. However, the breeder may assist in making travel arrangements as needed.

​

•     Harmonupurr & Tenderia Catteries prohibit selling or transferring kittens/cats to pet shops or research facilities. If the new owner cannot or no longer wants to keep the kitten, they must return it to Harmonupurr & Tenderia Catteries. The new owner is responsible for shipping costs and vet expenses, and no refund will be given. 

​

•     We guarantee a healthy kitten, free from genetic defects or life-threatening congenital issues. New owners have 3 days from the date of purchase to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the kitten is found unhealthy, it must be returned within 72 hours with written documentation from the vet. Harmonupurr & Tenderia Catteries will replace the kitten of equal value, when available. All medical expenses, including health certificates, exams, tests, and shipping costs, are the responsibility of the new owner. Failure to have the kitten examined within 3 days voids the health guarantee and return policy. The guarantee does not cover virus-related deaths from contact with other animals out of Harmonupurr & Tender Catteries.

•     Breeding rights are available for an additional fee.

RESERVATION/ PAYMENT INFORMATION

Reservation: 

​

  • Reservation is complete with a non-refundable reservation fee of $500.

​

  • This fee is included in the kitten price and ensures that the kitten of your choice is exclusively reserved for you, guaranteeing that it will not be sold to another party.

​

  • By submitting the reservation fee, you demonstrate your sincere commitment to bringing your chosen kitten into your home.

​

  • Cash, PayPal, * Venmo** & Zelle are acceptable forms of payments for Reservation.

​

* PayPal charge $18 for every $500 sent so please make sure to include their fees.

 ** For Venmo Payments if using Friends & Family, no fees are charged. 

** If utilizing Venmo Business option, please add $10 to your payment for fees.

 Final Payment: 

​

  • Cash, Venmo & Zelle are acceptable for all forms of payments.

​

  • We DO NOT accept PayPal for installments or Final Payment for your kitten.

​

  • Full payment is required before any kitten can leave the cattery.

​

  • Prepayment of kitten in full is accepted, as well as any, or as many, payments at any time the Buyer wishes to for their convenience through Venmo or Zelle only.

  • For Venmo Payments if using Friends & Family, no fees are charged. If utilizing Business option, please add $10 to your payment for fees.

  • Remaining Balance Owed is preferred to have paid 2 weeks prior to pick up of kitten.

Delivery/ Pick-Up

​

  • We offer delivery by car, courier or by plane for an additional fee. 

​

  •  If the kitten is being delivered by a courier, the rate and payment are due depending on the courier's terms. 

​

  • If delivery is by car, the fee is required 2 weeks before the delivery date.

​

  • If delivery is by plane, the fee is required 2-3 weeks before the travel date.

​

SELLER OBLIGATIONS: 

​

1. The kitten's health is guaranteed to be free of any hereditary issues that might prevent the cat from leading a normal life. A replacement kitten of similar quality from the following litter will be sent to the buyer in the event that a genetic health issue is identified or found before the cat becomes 12 months old. If this is the case, the Breeder will need a statement from the Buyer's veterinarian, their contact information, and their approval before providing a replacement. The health guarantee will not be valid if the veterinarian determines that the health issue was brought on by or contributed to by inadequate diet, an accident or injury, or anything else not under the Breeder's control. In case of death, a necropsy will need to be performed and a former report should be issued by a licensed veterinarian.

2. The Seller provides a 72-hour limited health warranty that the above kitten/cat is in good health and is free from upper respiratory infections, fleas and worms. The Seller also warranties that the kitten is free of the feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) at the time of purchase. 

3. The Seller will have completed all the age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. A copy of the kitten's health record will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase. 

4. The Seller will provide the Buyer the kitten's TICA (The International Cat Association) pedigree registration papers as soon as the Buyer meets the spay/neuter requirements (unless they are getting the kitten with breeding rights). The Kitten’s litter will be registered with TICA, and the Buyer may use this form to register their Kitten individually. This low-cost individual registration fee is the responsibility and the option of the Buyer, and not necessary unless the cat is to be shown.

BUYER OBLIGATIONS:

​

1. The Buyer must take the kitten to a vet within 72 hours, at the Buyer's expense, to verify this warranty. Any claim made by the Buyer under the warranty must be immediately reported to the Seller. 

2. A brief note on the doctor's letterhead stationery detailing the veterinarian's findings should be written and signed if the doctor discovers any physical issues that put the kitten at risk for health concerns. The kitten can be exchanged for a new kitten of comparable quality, if available, or taken from the future liter (same-sex and value). Refunds will not be given under any circumstances. The Buyer will be responsible for any shipping costs. 

3. The Buyer agrees to provide the cat with a clean, pleasant environment, conducive to good health and with adequate space for exercise. At least one litter box will be provided for each cat in the household and will be cleaned daily. The kitten will not be caged unless absolutely necessary for the kitten’s safety or health. 

4. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper nutrition in the form of a best food. Fresh water will be provided daily. 

5. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper veterinarian care and vaccines, and companionship. 

6. The Buyer agrees the kitten will live indoors only and will not let the cat roam outdoors. 

7. The Buyer will not declaw the kitten. 

8. The Buyer will not, under any circumstances, give, sell, or lease the kitten/cat to any animal shelter, research facility, laboratory, pet store, or other commercial or noncommercial enterprise. If the Buyer can no longer keep the kitten/cat, the Seller will be contacted immediately as first option to assist in the placement of the animal.

 

We do NOT sell to pet shops or a third-party buyer(s) for resale.

 

We operate as a "Closed Cattery," which means we do not permit visitors. This policy is in place to ensure the health and safety of our kittens, as it minimizes their exposure to external illnesses and stress. Additionally, it helps maintain a controlled and serene environment crucial for their well-being and development.  

 

Harmonipurr & Tenderia Catteries are delighted to offer video calls for prospective pet parents. We actively update our various social media platforms with daily news about our kittens. Additionally, once you place a deposit, we ensure you receive weekly updates on your chosen kitten right up until the time you come to pick them up.
